Why It's Safe to Buy From Us

Our personal guarantee is that you will be satisfied with any and
all purchases or your money will be promptly refunded.

Dear customer,

Many people get nervous at the thought of buying something on the internet. It can be very scary to give a total stranger your name, phone number, address, and (especially) your credit card number. Images abound of credit card numbers transmitted around the world for anyone to see and use, statements charged to the limit with fraudulent purchases, unauthorized access to your personal credit; it's enough to make anyone think twice.

The fact is, however, that the common myths about purchasing on the net are mostly just that: myths. That doesn't mean fraud doesn't happen, or that you don't need to be careful before giving out personal information. The truth is that billions of dollars each month are spent on the internet, buying just about anything you could imagine. And, based on current reports, except for the auction sites, little in the way of fraud from online purchases generally occurs. When it does happen, it's not from some elaborate scheme by some international crime ring to steal millions from internet customers, or some computer hacker who wants a vacation in the Bahamas. It's always plain old theft (or laziness) of the garden variety being done by unscrupulous, mismanaged businesses or their employees; the kind of theft that happens just about anywhere people do business of any kind.

We all buy things all the time from a wide variety of sources. Most of us usually know where to go to get things at a good price with reasonable guarantees that we can resolve things to our satisfaction if we do have a problem. Sometimes, though, it just doesn't happen the way we want it to, and the internet has nothing to do with it.

The point is, if someone wants to do you dirty, the internet is just one more way among many to do it. On-line credit card fraud is on the rise, but it is the merchant who ultimately loses. At least by using a credit card you are only liable for the first $50 of all purchases. The merchant loses the whole amount, small or large. So far, this web site has been lucky. It has few payment problems, and the plan is to keep it that way. Fraud protection measures are used whenever and wherever possible, to protect both you and Tools for Healing, LLC.

Tools for Healing, LLC is a family owned and operated business, not some corporate conglomerate. There aren't a dozen operators standing by to take your order or answer your questions, and some days it's simply not possible to answer all of the phone calls and emails.

The owners of Tools for Healing, LLC have been in the retail business since 1987. Their goal is to offer good products at good prices, without the risk of being ripped off. If you have a problem, they will do their best to get it resolved quickly. They won't be on the beach in the Bahamas spending your hard-earned money.

So, don't place undo concern on the internet itself, watch out for the individual companies that you do business with, just as you always do locally. Buy from places that offer guarantees that you feel comfortable with, from stores that have been around for awhile, and from places that do their best to make you feel comfortable with the buying process.

With that said, I have know idea how you may feel about buying from Tools for Healing, LLC. I've done my best to make the process as easy as possible with the limited time and tools available. It's an ongoing process of improvement and as more and better tools become available this site will change appropriately.

If you've read this far, I thank you for taking the time to see what I had to say.
