How fresh is your Clarkia? New black walnut tincture is produced every year by the manufacturer at the time when Black Walnut Hulls are green (June, July or August). Other herbs are added into the tincture from August to October. The tincture is bottled from October thru June, so the Clarkia sold by toolsforhealing.com cannot be more than 1 year old. The oldest bottles are always sold first, which means most bottles are never more than 6 months old.
What is the shelf life of Clarkia? According to the manufacturer: If kept inside a sealed glass bottle in a dark, cool place at fairly stable temperature, Clarkia will retain at least 95% of it's original strength for 15 - 20 years or longer. Once a bottle is opened (and you keep opening it every day), it will still retain at least 90% of it's original properties during the next 4-6 months. Refrigerating after opening will prolong it's expected life.
Proper use of Clarkia is your own responsibility!
